My photography work is strongly engaged in contemporary performing arts, plays and dance. I choreograph poses, movements and compositions for my photographic images to seek contemporary narratives in photography. I am interested in using emotionally loaded personal and historical events as my themes. I often create photo-installations by manipulating photographs through cutting, pasting, drawing or burning them in the both analogue and digital techniques. The photo-installations encourage viewers to have more physical involvement with the images. I represent images on my photography by choreographing a stage, and then, I also reconstruct the images again as a photo-installation to invite the viewers into the image, to search the border between fiction and reality.
