My work is strongly engaged with contemporary performing arts, plays and dance. I choreograph poses, movements and compositions to seek contemporary narratives in photography and video. I am interested in using emotionally loaded personal and historical events as my themes. I often create installations by manipulating and combining media in both analogue and digital techniques. The installations encourage viewers to have more physical involvement with the images. I represent images in my photography and video by choreographing a scene, and then I also reconstruct the images again as an installation to invite the viewers into the image, to search the border between fiction and reality.
